• The need of electric vehicles was covered as introduction session of this Value added course ensuring the need of this course topic.
• The course is a beginner-level course designed to introduce students to Electric vehicles and give them a brief idea about electric vehicles, and its importance.
• This course gave awareness on various design features of electrical vehicles and some basic technical foundations regarding electric vehicles in order to enhance the knowledge on the growing technologies.
• The technical details covered are as follows, electric vehicles, their importance and identify various components of an EV, Rules and regulations set by the Indian government to be followed while designing an EV, Battery technology and associated performance, Charging technology and its implementation, mathematical modeling of EV and simulation using MATLAB.
